Erotic Photography

Erotic photography has been described as artistic photography that depicts the body or human sexuality in a suggestive or provocative way.

It is usually distinguished from pornography which is more explicit and usually less artistic, more obvious and less subtle.

Some say that where pornography stimulates desire by appealing directly to the sex organs, erotic photography stimulates desire through the mind.

Erotic photography frequently uses a lot of nudity, but this is not necessary. In fact there are many nude photographs that are not at all erotic, and very arousing erotic photographs with no nudity whatsoever. Nudity and eroticism are almost independent dimensions.

The artistic element comes from the originality of expression. If you’re going to view a pornographic shot of a woman’s body, you know pretty much what it’s going to look like. The range of variation in pornographic depiction is very narrow.

Not true for erotic photographic images. You never know what you’re going to see, because the artist tries to express his subject in a unique way.

But in most porn, the creator is very true to the genre and doesn’t want to deviate too far from the standard looks everyone else does. There is an expectation that he serves.

Our clients have their own ideas on the type of erotic photography they’re interested in. We're always eager to suggest our own ideas and interpretations, but ultimately it’s up to you, the client.

The only requirement we impose is that the work be tasteful and that the person we’re shooting be of legal age and has photo IDs to prove it.

As with all our work, you’re always welcome to submit ideas to us before the shoot. If you see photos that you like on another website, send them to us to communicate the looks or poses that interest you.

The final stage is when we retouch your images and add any needed special effects.

From beginning to end, it’s a fun, creative process that our clients find very rewarding. Then there are the pictures…
